Someone died - How real can it get for you?

Last week we put out a death notice in our showcase for our church. its a death notice about a jung person wich was killed within the age of 33.
We want to hold a commemoration on friday for this person and invited over a poster to this service.
A lot of people asked us because they wanted to know if this person was one of our members or someone they maybe kow from sunday meeting.
We always replyied verry friendly that we will hold this service on Good Friday and that they mostly know this person. Of course it is jesus christ.
What us supriesed was the reaction of some (christian) people.
They said: "You cant do this. What should the people think? The people will think its about a real person who died? ---- STOP - What????

Christian people really said whe should not use this poster because people could think it could be a "real person"?? It really made me soooo sad that christians said something like this.
JESUS was/is a real person and he really died for us shurely. There are evidences for this. not only in the bible but mostly of course in the holy book. There even you can read that he was "so dead" that his red blood cells where seperated from the serum as you can read in Johannes 19,33.
So how more real can it get?

But even more... it not that he died buy accident - he was killed and not only without any reason - he wass killd for our sin.

So to take it more for real that anyone from the congregation could have died instead that jesus died for you?
If this is not real for your belife is worth nothing see: 1 Corinthians15,12-21 .
